I just want you to know that I am way beyond thankful for you. I love you and wish you didn't live 2.5 hours away from me so I could see you everyday, and you could help with AWANA and see Johnny, and we could go for drives, and do awesome stuff like that.
I love you.

The Songs I Was Telling You About
This is "God Gave Me You" which I was telling you about on the bus on the way home...
And THIS is "Parlez-Vous Francais" which I was telling you about randomly on the way to ask them to get you peanut butter.
Enjoy, my Maggie! I miss you a buttload and I think we need to live closer together <3

Alyssa, may I ask you a favor? I'm just.. I need prayer. I'm trying to stay strong, and I know things will get better soon (at least I pray they will) but I just feel so, "blah" right now. and I could really use others praying right now. I just don't know what to even say, I'm just listening to The Almost and trying to stay strong but I just feel like I am being paranoid about nothing, and that affects me even more. I don't know. Just pray.

Swim.
Now, I know that you've more then likely heard this song (and it was most likely because of me and my mild obsession) but since you said you've been having a rough time I thought I would share this song. I loved the song you just shared, it's wonderful and I am going to have to download it. :)
But, you were saying how you've been having a hard time I though this song would be a little bit of a pick me up, maybe. Now when I am feeling down and out, or just feel like singing at the top of my lungs I always go back to my favorite, Jack's Mannequin. Now, I love the tone of this song, it can be very versatile and Andrew writes some of the beautifulest (in my opinion) music in the world. What can I say? I'm in love with his lyrics. And I am seriously considering getting "Swim for the music" as a tattoo when I turn 18.
Anyways, here's a little something to try and help cheer you up. I love you.

I hate Christmas parties.
Merry Christmas, Alyssa Joy!
Since we are weird folks who live in this old blue church we've already opened our presents up. (We have always opened them on Christmas Eve. with the exception of last year, we opened them on Christmas morning)
but, already having my gifts opened up and exploring what I got.. let me take a moment to say how much I truly love this time of the year. I mean, who doesn't? (unless you are someone by the name of Tyler whom is an atheist and says he will not celebrate Christmas. Lame.)
I really do love it. I don't know if it's the way the lights glow or how everyone seems so cheerier then usual, but I love Christmas. I can't say it enough.
And with this part of the year I can listen to my Relient K album without being judged by some people.
Anyways.. I was going to tell you what I got!!
One thing that I was extreamly excited to get was... THREE BOOKS BY DONALD MILLER!!!!!
I did not get Scott Pilgrim vs. The World like I really hoped for (That was at the top of my list, and was truly what I wanted) but I am extremely grateful for what I did get. and I had to share with you. :)
So, anyways, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas. Don't eat too much food. Say hello to your family for me. and I love you.

Title goes: here.
A quote that I liked from a man by the name of Jarrid Wilson, "Dear ladies, if a guy isn’t willing to pray with you, he doesn’t deserve to be with you." - I liked that I thought it was cute but then It made me think.. How could I ever date someone, or even think of dating someone if we weren't on the same page religiously? I don't know, it was just something I've been thinking about.
Oh, and semi-related to your last post, I think my mom bought me a book by Don Miller for Christmas! She had me pick out a book that I would want when we were at the book store and I picked out "A Million Miles in A Thousand Years". She then had me leave the store so she could continue 'looking around' Let's hope that it's under my tree on Christmas morning, because I would be the happiest person ever!

Reading and Thinking
"There is something beautiful about a billion stars held steady by a God who knows what He is doing. (They hang there, the stars, like notes on a page of music, free-form verse, silent mysteries swirling in the blue like jazz.) And as I lay there, it occurred to me that God is up there somewhere. Of course, I had always known He was, but this time I felt it, I realized it, the way a person realizes they are hungry or thirsty. The knowledge of God seeped out of my brain and into my heart. I imagined Him looking down on this earth, half angry because His beloved mankind had cheated on Him, had committed adultery, and yet hopelessly in love with her, drunk with love for her."

I think my cat is reading my diary.
Bonjour! :D
Well, here is my first contribution to this wonderful little blog we've started together. *starts dancing*
Well, as of recently I have been awfully fond of the show, "Glee" mainly because I have let my bias opinion aside, and let two of my friends talk me into it, I have given the show a chance and I must say.. I am in love! I want Chris Colfer to be my best friend (Molly makes fun of me for it) so here is a cover that I actually like from the show.
I don't know why I am so fascinated with this show. Maybe because it's sort of a weekly musical, and I am a die-hard fan of musicals? I don't know.. they've just always been something I fancy.

In-trow-duck-shun.
Yay! Maggie and I have started a blog! Huzzah! *throws confetti*
This will probably be the most random blog in the entire world. Music, photography, links, strange pictures, really strong opinions on things most people don't like to discuss... I'm excited.
For some reason, there is a Shakira video in the "recommended for me" section on youtube. I find this odd. Anyway, on to what I was looking for. Nothing Better (Styrofoam Remix) by The Postal Service.
This is my favorite song at the moment. I hope you enjoy it.
